Tip 23 - Ship Management and Ship Intelligence
- There's so many ships!
- I can't find my ship!
- I can't keep track of all my ships!
I had this problem too, until I started using the Ship Management screen...
and this solved all my troubles.
Hit F1 and you'll see the following screen:
ANY time you need to do anything with ships you should have this thing
running. Get used to it, learn it, to love it. Features:
- Click the ship picture and it will move the screen to that ship.
- On the main map screen, go to an area you want a ship to travel to...
bring up the ship screen (via F1 of course!) and then click the little blue x
with a dot in the middle. This will make the ship travel to the area
you're looking at. A super feature!
- Of course you can have it filter... to show only your ships, the
opponents, just Starbases, or everything.
- Above the filter you can sort the ships you see by Name, Class of ship,
Attack strength, and a ton more options.
- USE THIS OFTEN! Just get used to hitting the F1 key a lot.
A neat thing you can do, is when you have a ship's detail up, you can click
the Intelligence Report button. This is a great way to find out
what your enemy is building and gives you a great view of the ship.
